Drugs who wants some?

What constitutes a drug really? All prescription drugs were derived from nature right?, yet drugs in their more natural forms are banned and only very concentrated and controlled drugs are prescribed. Long lists of side effects that last for over half the commercial on tv they distract you with pretty pictures as they rattle off dozens of horrible side effects that you thought this drug was supposed to cure. Turn on your t.v. when a drug commercial comes on close your eyes and listen to what it really says.

coca was a leaf off a plant if you chewed it it would make you a bit more alert and energetic like caffeine which also comes from natural sources such as the cocoa bean, kola nut, and tea leaves. but once caffeine had been isolate we inject caffeine into our everyday life just like the pills on TV, only in concentrated, unholy forms. At every instance leaving us trapped in a room isolated from reality, But we all bought into it? they've got us, the tv is nothing but a shouting commercial. always telling us what is desirable, worthy, and worth our attention.

Look around, does anybody see an robotic world out there? All chasing money to buy that drug or that new car, or those new clothes to fullfill an empty life? An empty heart?

Fighting Myself in an Uphill Battle!

Have you ever had the feeling theres a war within yourself?

Suppressing it telling yourself it's not real?

I recently came to the realization that I've been fighting myself my entire life! Thanks to an insightful homie, I thought I was one way but turns out I was the complete opposite and I had been fighting my true nature and personality all this time.

Growing up Chinese in the Mexican hood, and then going to a almost all white christian private school my whole life has tweaked my sense of who I am and who I wanted to be. who knows what lies ahead of what changes are in store for my life this has been a big period of change.

Maybe it's just college?

and everyone goes through this? Well either way I'm going to enjoy it and trying to make the most of it in terms of personal growth.

I always can always trust my true friends to always tell it to me straight. I appreciate all of you =D

Romatic Comedies

Today I watched 3 romantic comedies; What happens in Vegas, Yes man, and a comedy with a romantic element....Bill and Ted's bogus journey. ALL three had happy endings but how rarely do these events actually happen in real life? Yet...they are depicted as if this was real life. The absurd situations, the dramatic way they fall in love, the horrible break ups, which usually are a sad state of circumstances rather than anybody's actual fault....

The guy is usually clueless about what happened and blames himself because the woman blames him, it's not really his fault it's her fault! She's crazy and thinks everything should be perfect.
We live in an imperfect world where things like fairy tales don't happen. i'm not saying we can't be happy I love life and desire to live it to the fullest. All I want is somebody who understands that we're all just trying to get through life as best as we can manage and incorporate as much happiness as one can feasibly and forget about the rest...does that make sense to anyone?
I think Bill and Ted said it best, "Be good to each other, and party on!"
